During the final week of Term 1, Year 11 attended the annual camp to the Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre. The students actively participated in a range of activities including mountain biking, archery, survival skills and the trek up to Mount Kosciuszko. The week also included participation in the Life Ready program which supports senior students to prepare for personal, social and work-related challenges, equipping them with essential skills for independence and wellbeing.
Year 7 students along with a group of eager and amazing CTHS staff members enjoyed a busy and fun-filled three days of camp last week at the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Kincumber. There were lots of laughs and fears conquered across all of the activities including crowd favourites such as the giant swing, making damper, games night and leap of faith. Many students formed brilliant connections with each other whilst working through activities and figuring out challenging tasks.
On Friday 13 February we held a wonderful assembly recognising the achievements of the Class of 2025 and celebrating their impressive HSC results. The ceremony provided a valuable opportunity for our school community to acknowledge and share in the success of our Year 12 students, with family and friends in attendance.
